- Greetings. I am the Illusive One. For many years now I have been a huge video game player, movie viewer, and book reader. For almost as long, I have been a critic of these things and many people respect my opinions of these things and have often said I belong on G4 doing reviews on X-Play or a similar show. Sadly that is not likely to happen. So instead I shall do reviews for you, uninfluenced by other reviewers, of video games books, movies, and, occasionally, music and political actions. Announcing Franchise vs. Franchise
March was a busy month for me. I published 17 posts, got my highest number of views in a month, reviewed several games and films, compared franchises, introduced a new segment, rammed a claymore up the ass of my rival and got shot in both knee caps for giving less than perfect reviews on certain posts. So how will I start this month? Well, with all the new stuff I have been doing lately, I decided to try a new segment in which I compare competing franchises. Inspired in part by The Nostalgia Critic's Old V.S. New segments, in this segment I'll be comparing the plots, characters, and such of different franchises that usually compete with each other, or are made by the same people. Like my Illusive One V.S. Game Informer segment, this may get its own blog if feedback from it is positive enough. But without further adieu, I'm pleased to announce Franchise V.S. Franchise.
